Thurcroft Big Local Plan Endorsed
Congratulations to all those residents who made it happen!!
Thurcroft Big Local Plan has been endorsed – Local Trust have formally endorsed Thurcroft’s Big Local Plan and approved initial grant funding of £51,857 for year 1, August 2014-August 2015.
Thurcroft Big Local WW1 Tea Dance
Held on 28th July 2014 a fantastic time was had by all.
£188 was made on the raffle, £94 to Royal British Legion and £94 to Help for Heroes.

Sewing Group Competition
Fridays Sewing Group meet at Gordon Bennett on Friday mornings.
A sewing competition was judged by Big Local Steering Group and Keyring members on 3rd May 2013. The items were all made from recycled garments or items for example a pair of jeans was recycled and made into a bag

The Steering Group is an open one and members are keen to involve all residents in Thurcroft Big Local however you can help. You can get involved with us in a number of ways:
- helping us at our events including the Gala
- chatting to other residents
- support with administration
- developing our website or the facebook page
- helping us create links with other organisations both in and outside the village
- attending training at Northern College
